If they had followed the same security protocols as official boxes, I might see your point. But cardboard boxes with loose lids, for envelopes with the voter's name and address printed on the outside of each, does not seem like an innocuous mistake.
When we collect ballots we don't bring locked boxes though. Like I fully understand everyone's arguments here including @BLinderLaw. My point is that this was only targeted at other Republicans as it was only advertised on the GOP website.
And what I have been very politely trying to say but now explicitly have to is, our local GOP leadership is too stupid to get something this basic correct so getting it wrong makes complete sense to me.
