Nah that’s jus a false equivalency, there’s a stark difference in efficiency of the examples given, whereas the electric car can often be a downgrade. And California currently doesn’t have the infrastructure to instal thousands of charging stations nor do I think they plan to.

I imagine they’ll do a credit of some sort to install in home or have a new building standard moving forward to have them installed. Or so I hope. When I got one quoted it was like $500 also as someone else pointed out hydrogen cars are another alternative.

There are already private companies that exist that are building stations at low costs but because we don’t have the cars they don’t do it in the Valley. I’m actually pretty confident this can be done relatively smoothly.
