Far as I know EV big rigs have enough torque for the job now... Should be covered. Every smart trucker is following developments & eying the time to move over if they are indy-operators.

@taylorbilt just bought a new rig but I don't think it's EV. Some carrot with the stick is how the revenuers roll so look for enducements to switch over I guess. -
If I’m not mistaken I think there is actually already a law that says when a diesel truck is retired it has to be replaced with some sort of “green” replacement and the issue was that the diesels are lasting too long. I could be making this up though lmao
