It isn't that the "talent" isn't there, it's that these companies don't understand the risk attempting to get one of these degrees is and often not seen as worth it. Couple that with the lack of recruiting within these communities and bam.

At PwC I worked with 2 black people that were actually born and raised in the United States. I worked at one of the largest offices in the country. There are levels to this stuff and some companies are definitely at fault but ignoring the structural issue gets us no where.

I looked and their entry level teller positions don't require advanced degrees. While I agree with you on educational access they CAN do outreach and hire. They just don't and regulators don't make them. This is also why FCC & FSU are bargains at the price.
