It will be difficult if not impossible to expand the court-a constitutional amendment will be required. FDR tried and failed.

A constitutional amendment is not required as the constitution does not specify a # of justices...still very difficult as Dems would need control of leg & exec branch to change the act...and of course the potential retaliatory political moves that come as a result.

I do believe we need to expand voices and thoughts. I don’t know about having a more leaning court one way or another. I do want progress and I want to be sane at the same time

Expansion of the # of justices on court is a short term fix for a way bigger issue. If we don’t take a serious look at E/C & voter suppression, Expansion of the seats will never matter because it’s based on false “representative” nominations/confirmations.
