Absolutely, a functioning society provides universal education so that citizens can have the baseline education necessary to start in a field without debt. When my daughter gets into medical school, if she can get out with $100,000 in debt, I would be thrilled! I fear it will be much higher!

It’s terrible. My grandson just took out his first student loan. Luckily he attended FCC for GE so he’s already 3rd year but he’s seeking a PHD so I hate to imagine what he’ll owe before he’s done. My son won’t be out of debt until he’s 56. That’s insane
