Everyone: we need housing for the homeless. Fresno: say no more, luxury apartments are on the way.

Arias called him he said. I know 3 things. 1. City does better financially on infill and did BEFORE the 3k drop in developer fees. 2. We need a mix of housing everywhere. Not concentrated poverty here, rich there.

And 3. I know professional people who transferred here and looked for suitable office space & housing downtown but couldn't find it. So. How to get some cooperation so local devs do infill AND other projects?

It's a massive seemingly intractible problem especailly when city tax receipts are falling. There's a project at Peach & Tulare on the books. That one shouldn't be high dollar I don't think.

There should be no confusion that we're looking at another immigration event as bad as the Dust Bowl if not worse if everyone doesn't get their acts together. It's hard to see a great way out without pain, we're simply going to have to go through it best as possible.
