One did recently. Otherwise the plan has been for infill with a mix of housing. Although they might be redoing the city planning documents to not stress infill. I know why Esparzas objection is reasonable though.

Blackstone south of Shaw and motel row sixth street have been "the stroll" historically since 70s. Esparza objects to density of low income on the conversion of smugglers inn I think.

Dary what are the hotels east of Cedar on kings canyon like now? You been by recently? We can't stick select neighborhoods with all the homeless or long term stays either so I understand your concerns.

Yea I mean my point is more around the fact that it seems these projects have no trouble getting green lit yet Dez is out there constantly begging for housing or just more beds at the shelters. We’re watching gentrification happen and if we don’t do something it’ll be ugly.
