My gf is a student at Fresno City College. You can guarantee I will always vote for students and faculty purely on the fact that I will get yelled at when I get home and my gf scares me.

Many, if not all, Community Colleges offer free tuition, what do you think about free books (which with a 12 unit schedule, can be more than tuition)?
That is actually one of our top priorities. Especially after the privatization of the book store, any incremental increase in price has consequences for the students. What you just described with books being more than tuition was my experience at City.
