Unless you get a scholarship to a 4 year University, why wouldn’t you start at a Community College?

For a counter perspective. I went to a private religious university & those first two years were formative in my own understanding & life choices about my faith Without those first two years I would not be the same person. Went on medical mission trips, had a mentor ....
So that I totally understand. If there is an added element like you just described or some of the polytechnic universities I absolutely get it.

I do know many CC professors & have no issues with the quality of instruction that west hills or FCC are providing in science (which is where I have the most knowledge)
