Despite going to @Cal after FCC, in some ways this was my experience as well. Much more attention, feedback, and care by professors; not in all classes, but in many.
As a student who attended FCC and Fresno State, I have to generally agree. Obviously, I have personal anecdotes but one of the key differences I noticed was the amount of time FCC instructors were willing to put into the lives of students.
