Couldn’t give you an exact figure, but a lot. If you never watched, “The U” documentary it explains how much they make off their football team. It’s an insane number. Millions of dollars per season. Enough that they built new dorms and classrooms every year when they were good.

Idk for sure across the board but I can say a lot of the revenue Ohio State generates from football....gets pumped right back into the football program.

I think in the short term, there are still significant expenses like coach salaries, student scholarships & facilities up keep that will not go away but now there's now revenue to support, so those expenses will hit general funds & reserves.
