It might be. Covid would be listed as a co morbidity since the hospital is oils have to spend money on ppe to wear while they treat the gun wound. It would be the same if it were Ebola or h1n1.

Thank you for saying this! So many ppl don’t understand that yes...if a person has COVID-19 extra resources still have to be used to prevent the spread of the virus for that pt. No matter what, if you are Covid+ you’ll have Covid as one of your diagnoses on your chart/death cert.
