I applied early April, have confirmed my previous income three times, and I just missed a call from them, with the voicemail “you haven’t been issued a payment because we have no record of your income.” I am all about celebrating our public workers, but FUCK these people.

Have you reached out to you assembly member or state senators office? I went through someone at constituent services and it still took a bit but at least they were able to get answers and have a line of communication with EDD instead of whatever the hell they are doing now.

They owe me almost $10,000 in back pay with the PUA, and I’m gonna fucking get my money.

FWIW I do know about 6 people in similar situations who all got appropriate backpay once they finally get their EDD card.
