Agreed. Though I know enough cops to know they aren’t racist. (Bad apples apply here) but the policies & best practices of modern day policing have systemic racial bias baked in. At least that is what I would argue
I def know cops who aren’t explicitly racist. The problem is that the system keeps those officers from speaking out. It’s a fraternity mentality that you aren’t allowed to speak out on. It’s the difference between not being racist and being anti racist.

Bad deeds unpunished allow worse deeds down the road. The militarization of police departments has enhanced the "enforcement" narrative at the expense of "serve and protect".
