Data on opinions on this are really at odds both with how if feels intuitively and Trump’s messaging. I think this could lead republicans to badly misplay their hand.

I have friends that are unfortunately very anti-mask and use the argument that masks don't eliminate the risk 'cuz what about your eyes and skin blah blah blah' as an excuse not to wear a mask at all. The point is to minimize risk, not eliminate it

Would like to see state by state polling. I had to (as safely as possible) come to rural AZ about a month ago. Maybe a quarter of people wear masks, can easily go to a store without seeing one.
