In what sense? How can a group or individual with a unique idea/product seeking to profit from their labor be socialist?

I hear what you’re saying in that sense. People complain that corporations with big salary disparities are guilty of “run-away capitalism” in which the wealth is concentrated at the top. I would argue that the situation you described is more equitable capitalism, not socialism.

I guess in my eyes equitable capitalism is socialism. Mom and pop shops are impacted at a greater rate by local community than corps. Just look at yelp reviews. 1 bad review can ruin local restaurants while chains have receive little impact.pic.twitter.com/GiadpZj24Z

Well maybe that’s how most small businesses are now that authoritarian socialist policies put them out of business or near to it. I’d love to see you open a small business in Vietnam, China, or Cuba. wait...oh. sir your red nose is sliding across the floor.
