Last comment. The acid test is climate change. Der M and Franklin deny it out of pure ideology, making them part of the most dangerous movement in human history. There's no negotiating with them. There will be no opening of their closed minds. That puts people I love in danger.

I don’t think climate deniers are evil just misinformed. If we don’t try to change there minds they don’t just leave, they stay the way they are and they keep voting.

I've seen this argument with MdM, though. Every time climate change is the topic he's arrogantly obstinate and demeaning. That's not someone who can discuss the topic. He is firm in his stance and one can not have an informative discussion with him.

It seems the @kmkarbassi is trying to stand strongly for what he believes yet do so in a civil and gracious manner. This might doom his Republican future, but it makes him a hero for me today.

The guy who registered as a Democrat, may be doomed in the Republican party?
