I burned the hell out of Tahdig the first and only time I attempted it. Like black as charcoal. Was not pleasant.

Rice cooker tip: it wont have any good tadig with the first round. You have to keep pressing that button At least 3-4 times for a nice crispy tadig!

Don't need a rice cooker. Any pot will do. Just learn the mechanics.

People hate but once you learn how to make rice cooker tahdig it tends to be more consistent than stovetop. Plus it's hella easy. Just know it's not gonna be great the first time because you need to learn how your machine handles it.
