You can explain to her that he uses sales data in a predatory manner to exploit companies and entrepreneurs who sell things through Amazon. If something is selling well enough, they start to make it through Amazon basics and move the original to a back page.

I have, and even though she is one of said Amazon sellers, her head remains in the sand. I've also told her about how their employees are abused and exploited, how Amazon Smile is a tax scam, and plenty else, she willfully rejects all of it.
