The only way anything will substantially change is if we get money out of political campaigns and guarantee equal media coverage to each candidate.

How does a candidate reach people without money? How do you guarantee equal media coverage and why would you?

Either cap expenditures or publicly fund. There would be no reason for the media to do this but even a baseline of making sure all challengers named were mentioned in articles.
