You're basically just arguing that a UBI experiment isn't actually UBI because it doesn't last forever. Technically that may be true, but there's also a lot to learn from experiments, which is why we do them.

This isn’t even an experiment. It’s a replacement of lost wages due to a catastrophic event. You’re talking to someone who is pro-UBI and worked on what that would look like because I worked in automation. Yangs version was the first I wrote and realized how many flaws it had.
