We can’t rely on a single campaign to create engagement. The number of millennials who voted in Fresno as of yesterday was under 10% and that was out of 65k. We have to organize ourselves. Obviously voter reg is important but what I’d like to focus on is turn out. There are 65k registered voters 18-35. That’s enough to sway an election at any level of the ticket. Obviously that’s Fresno county so the numbers within certain districts will be smaller but you get it.
