At least two dead and several wounded in yet another school shooting. One of the things we hear after every single one of these shootings is that this horrific event was unimaginable or unthinkable. It’s not unimaginable anymore. It's not unthinkable, not anymore.

In the last 72 hours alone, there have been 215 gun-related crimes in this country. That’s almost 3 per hour and nearly 72 per day. What’s the magic number that we as a society will say no? That number is too high or rather - that body count is too high?

How many more kids have to endure this at schools? And when will we admit to what this really is - an epidemic. There isn’t a single parent, Democrat or Republican that isn’t thinking about this. Being kept up at night about this, worried if their kid’s school will be next.

We are getting to the point in this country that we will soon know someone affected by gun violence in some shape or form. We are starting to run out of words to say after each new occurrence of mass gun violence that hasn’t already been said.
