You’ve got this the wrong way round. Public safety depends upon people being willing to engage with local law enforcement without fear of the ICE Gestapo. But that’s okay, because you’ll be out of a job soon enough.
I applaud @MayorSamAbed for supporting the DOJ lawsuit against CA sanctuary state laws - prioritizing political points over protecting public safety will not be tolerated.
