"With 1.5 trillion being spent to cut taxes, why did they have to increase taxes on anyone and why did it have to be discriminatory against a few states?" Joined @TheStoryFNC with @marthamaccallum last night to discuss why I voted NO on the House tax reform proposalpic.twitter.com/g8VqSx4NPJ

Why should low tax or no tax states subsidize high tax states?

It's the other way around, California pay more than they take, red states are the big takers.

It's not "discriminatory" Congressman. Why should the rest of the Country encourage fouled up States like CA who continue to tax the productive to give away to the non-productive? You're on the wrong side of this argument. And I'm from CA.

And please stop using the completely fake verbiage of the Left. Nothing is being "spent" to cut taxes. It's our money. Period. Government has no presumption to it. Cut spending by a trillion a year. Easily done.

Be watchful; in California, this man is ramping himself up for a run at the Governorship when Jerry Brown terms out ... Controversy begets MSM attention.

Cut the crap. When a state or individual behaves fiscally irresponsibly, it is NOT up to fiscally responsible states or individuals to be forced at gov't gunpoint to bail them out.
