2 years ago, Ammar accepted the support of Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris, Bernie Sanders, Justice Democrats, AOC, the Progressive Caucus, and others.
I shouldn’t be surprised. The old Ammar didn’t quite make it across the finish line in 2018, so now he’s blowing in the wind to try to be the person he thinks this district wants.
Voters should remember that in 2018 Democrats ran around 40 moderate / conservative Democrats. Many of them won. When they got to D.C. ALL of them (except for @CongressmanJVD who switched parties) voted with Nancy Pelosi.
To the voters of the 50th District, who do you believe is the real Conservative in the race? The candidate with the proven Conservative record, or the Socialist trying to re-invent himself?
