Probably true that it doesn’t matter. Which is why I find the claim that the video is “misandry” to be triggered. Why are people so defensive about Satoshi’s gender? Didn’t think the video was a big deal and am surprised people reacted like they did.

I guess because it's not just about the video. This video is just one in a series of instances, of varied absurdity, of either disregard of reality or overemphasis of gender in an area where it's irrelevant. Overcorrection etc..

I could see that. People reacting to a broader climate explains the defensiveness. Going into attack mode and labeling someone SJW or “misandry” undermines your credibility IMO. People seem too sensitive in these areas about what is a lighthearted video.

You see, Bitcoin’s ideology is predicated on the idea that facts must be proven so this is nothing more than the community responding emotionally to fact-less content. Also doesn’t help that there is a profit motive here. Misrepresentation for money is a no-no round these parts.
