Or people that work with me that rely on me and if something should explode then its on everyone. Now, i know that i am not talking about anything specific, but i do tend to think what are these devs going through as people call them out or we have stories that really show

A one sided view of what it is like to deal with games, but also with communities? I don't get why some people are so invested, at least enough to make such a direct ruckus and cause harm, but its scary to me. Mostly because i feel we have a lot more to loose.

Now, i rather foster an environment that encourages people to value and critique, but also respect. For example, and this might sound like a broken record. But i did a huge giveaway of MGSV games, whether i like the game or not is not the point. But i was linked to people

literally criticizing my choice, for no apparent reason. That was my first introduction at how vulnerable one is around here, or how some people have told me that is why i am an avatar distanced of who i am in social media. Its a shame imo.

But what if people that are devs what to share into a forum, or are compelled to share, then they double take on it just because of the perception that people give even if its the minority, and it speaks leagues! i have no real answer to how this should be treated other than love

respect, and knowing the time and place to rant and banter. Having an equal grounds for discussion. I love arguments, i love debates, and i love knowledge and i hope this minority doesn't deter me from sharing my passion with people that are interested. But then, at what cost?

You do one thing or do a single callout and all of a sudden your reputation takes a dive. I mean its all extremes. Its either black or white, its never a rationale that drives us to make meaningful interactions when it does impact people. Its daunting to me that its this way.

Well change your circles, mute people, feel free to lock or unfollow. I mean, are those really the ways that something that links us should be treated? Ignoring people based on their valid criticisms of something? i've been called a bigot for suggesting that we should help people

I'm a firm believer that continued exposure to a certain attitude permeates one's being, via osmosis, we adopt certain ways of thinking, acting being. So controling the people you expose yourself to is important.

I don't disagree, but when you just hang within the same community only to validate any believe that you have and continue to echo that same thing would be kind of the same thing. Especially when you are for promoting dialogue.

Very true, => it pays to be intimately aware of ones faults and continue to 'improve' one's circle by including critical voices & people that increase your chances of reaching your goal. But this requires the kind of awareness that allows your inner voice to call you a moron.

Hehe. Its just nice to be surrounded by people that challenge you to be better but also to question. Through it you learn or validate and have a stronger bond. I like this rather than a festering community that sticks to the one and only thing.
