Sorry, missed it. Well if 40% of mining machines drop out, then the remaining ones are potentially much more profitable.

So China makes up 40% of BTC mining, if they go, others have more chance to claim the block reward due to less competition?

I intuitively assumed Chinese mining farms shutting down might mean slower transaction because less miners, but this is flawed?

indeed slower tx, but as difficulty drops, same machines mint more coins
