No it won't. There's no real competition for YouTube. The only way the platform would die is if advertisers completely pull out.
That's where you're wrong, my friend. Facebook is really starting to step up its game in the video/ads department and is a direct competitor to Google's YouTube. Once they increase video length, Facebook could become a serious contender against YouTube.
I seriously doubt it. It's not just video length, there's annotations and cards, in-video linking to other videos and sites, ease of monetization, and more. Facebook, at least at the moment, isn't a serious competitor.
You are correct that YouTube currently has more features and a better UI, but at the same time I'm seeing annotations and cards being used less and less. Facebook isn't there yet, but they're gearing up for it. Believe me when I say they've takien notice of YouTube's failings.
I'm sure, but until they show some improvement, we're not going to see any mass migration. And that doesn't even get into reluctance people might have about rebuilding their audience.
Surprisingly, I'm already starting to see some larger YouTubers migrating to platforms like Twitch and Mixer. While those are streaming services, I can see people SLOWLY migrating their audiences if it means saving their careers.
