Finally watched “Prey” from
Late to the party here but this film is a banger. Clean & concise direction with great visual & narrative symmetry that elevates a limp franchise.
Nothing on screen is wasted. Every frame is necessary and that is a great feat all its own.

1) PREY — Everything about this movie SHREDS. As a lifelong PREDATOR fan who never left, it delivered on all fronts. The visuals, the music, the characters, the hunt, the kills… all while telling a great story. A beautiful return to form for this franchise.

Just revisited ORDINARY PEOPLE for the first time in years. It’s like a Rosetta Stone for so many movies (one in particular) and for, like, the most important stuff we have to deal with, as people. It’s incredible and essential and it’s leaving Amazon Prime in a couple days…
