You're right, I meant temerity or audacity or something along those lines... although she also does also need a lot of tenacity to stay here in the face of the jingoistic sentiment spouted by the BBC, Daily Mail etc. and reflected in wider society.

Jingoistic? BBC? What are you listening to? BBC avoids or ignores anything remotely British. BBC is all about the demise of the NHS, the demise of white people and the inertia of the government. And totally anti Brexit' of course..that being the main rhetoric.

Did you notice the royal wedding? It's obsession with giving a platform to nationalists like Farage. Pro-war interventionist coverage of Syria and Iraq? Constant highlighting of immigration as a problem that needs to be resolved? All jingoistic in my book.

Obsession with Farage? What about Lammy and Vince Cable, Adonis and Soubry et al? It's a relentless anti Brexit fire pit from morning 'til night. Do you hate the Royals too? Oh dear.

Haha you mean you like the royals? Despite their German ancestry and their scrounging off the state? I'm actually ambivalent to them as people. But for me the institution promotes societal division, privilege and, you guessed it, jingoism.
