    ⁦⁩ on why China’s test of a FOBS is unwelcome news, not because it’s some fantastic futuristic technology but because it is yet another step in a pointless, costly, and dangerous arms race that’s been going on for decades.

    De NCTV is toe aan curatele – een herijking van taken, betere controle en betere juridische fundering. Dat de AIVD en MIVD wel een externe controle-instantie kennen, de CTIVD, en de NCTV niet, is al met al een onbegrijpelijke omissie.

    I started reading Lauren Wilkinson’s “American Spy” (2019) today. It tells the fictional story of a black, female American intelligence officer recruited to a task force aimed at undermining Thomas Sankara.🤔

    Here it is. Part 1: the Khan Affair (1972-1979) in which I use primary source documents to examine AQ Khan's actions in 'stealing' URENCO centrifuge designs in the 1970s. My conclusion: "The Netherlands was in good part responsible for the Khan affair".
