Free objects that have a link to our profiles would drive a lot of traffic to our work, and so what if we could offer premium content on these profiles that people could subscribe to? Every object by an artist that's included in any app could equate to +1 new subscriber. 2/3

And the credit shouldn't be intrusive, guests should just be able to "learn more" about the objects in the scene if they really want to. Right now, this wouldn't pay the bills, but when
#XR is mainstream these micro-transactions could make someone's entire income. 3/3Show this thread

Remember us talking about this 6-8mo ago? I've been working on something (slowly) for next year :)

Key to my implementation will be that I don't control it, by the way.

eth based?

It's blockchain-agnostic, but the idea is to support payment channels wherever they are, so eth will make sense.

I like that there's an API method to generate attribution automatically: https://developers.google.com/poly/develop/toolkit-unity#attributions_at_runtime … And then I can just use that String wherever.

Great timing for us, fun ways to credit artists: 1) Auto place an interactive sticker on the bottom of each model (logo, avi, or name) 2) Do it the old school modder way and put the credits inside the model (aka an easter egg), perfect for AR/VR glitching 3) Do a credit roll!
