Saddened by the loss of Colin Powell. Whenever I met him as Israel's Ambassador in DC, he always welcomed me with a big smile and a phrase in Yiddish. He had worked at a store owned by a Jewish family and was emotional talking about them and his appreciation of the Jewish people.
