I currently have 15,188 minutes of watch time. ~253 hours. I just got an email notifying me that I was terminated from the @TeamYouTube Partner Program. In order to be REEVALUATED, not reinstated, I need 240,000 watch minutes. 4,000 HOURS. Goodbye, livelihood. It's been awful.

Exactly. People think that beeing a youtuber is all about the revenue rather than actual content. Hell years ago people did it just for fun.

I do it for fun, there’s a small minority of other people who also do it for fun. I would only ever care about making money if it got to the point where I’d be stupid not to take the free money. You can tell who does it for fun and who does it for money by their content
