I currently have 15,188 minutes of watch time. ~253 hours. I just got an email notifying me that I was terminated from the @TeamYouTube Partner Program. In order to be REEVALUATED, not reinstated, I need 240,000 watch minutes. 4,000 HOURS. Goodbye, livelihood. It's been awful.

This is so unfair. What about channels who just don't upload a lot? Not fair!
I disagree. Youtube is kinda like a job.If you pop in once every 6 months,its sorta logical for them to ask you to step up your game

Exactly. People think that beeing a youtuber is all about the revenue rather than actual content. Hell years ago people did it just for fun.

Well what about people who do longer productions instead of daily crap posts? Mostly it's just a bad gesture to the community about what is good content.
