    I've come to a realization. It took me a really long time to admit this, because for me, politics is so personal… rights, feminism, racism, anti-capitalism. I wanted to believe that the right—in their own way—had authentic values-based reasons for being politically active

    Just had a panic attack. I was terrified but via sheer force of will i made myself take deep, full breaths as slowly as I could tolerate. It took maybe 15 of them. You're just beside yourself the whole time, but it stops my panic attacks in their tracks. It's amazing

    About the society thing though: Social pressure, social norms, these are code words for racism, for patriarchy, for hetero-noramativity, for Christian ideas of monogamy, slut shaming, fat shaming & body shaming—too many to count. So what does society is a bunch of assholes mean?

    Wow. That may be the highest compliment I've ever received. That's literally why I have depression—my health problems limit my capacity to make the world a better place. Making the world better every day is what gets me out of bed in the morning, it's why I'll die before I retire

    While you tweet about being home alone in the White House, I sit home today on my birthday, dealing with the reality that my daughter is no longer with me because she was killed in Parkland. Stop whining and fix what you broke.

    I am all alone (poor me) in the White House waiting for the Democrats to come back and make a deal on desperately needed Border Security. At some point the Democrats not wanting to make a deal will cost our Country more money than the Border Wall we are all talking about. Crazy!
