What if, at the "age of consent" they asked you, "do you consent to society?" What happens if you say no?

Historically Humans whose life rules weren't shared by anyone were unfit to survive. Even sharks commune. Anarchy fail. :)

Also, those disagreeing w/societal rules via certain actions define "criminal." Not always Evil but dangerously incompatible.

They were part of a religious society they created which was branded criminal, so they left. They didn't leave as anarchists.

Today we have a loose global society which polices many "offenses" outside their geography. Plus, less land :)

I think there is a big difference between not "consenting" and rejection. It is the passivity and subordination I disagree with

Agree. I didn't intend to imply any deviation from norm is rejected. Lots of headroom before violating taboos or laws.
