did i ever tell you about how i have this idea to build this *massive* fusion reactor in space for cheap using a star/planet shade and the cool of space to make a big deployable magnet, using the vacuum as a vacuum vessel? maybe not

it’s bravery or madness, brilliance or folly that the terrestrial fusion reactors are trying to be much more power dense than the sun, but superconductors are great, and give gravity an incredible run for their money for pressure. vacuum comes free in space. its for propulsion
