Most concerning element of the venture market today. We are foie-grassing startups with VC dollars. Too many huge rounds are done when there is no company development but investors need to invest. This distorts the execution plan unnaturally, most often negatively.

Sadly it runs all the way down too. Over-hiring and premature hiring of roles you don't need, kicking off strategies that don't yet make sense etc.

Absolutely, it skews the execution decisions of teams negatively. It also has such significant ramifications on labour markets which we are all seeing now.

causes the company and entire scene around it permanent brain damage / bozosity, even if they are successful similar sociological effect around some crypto at times. or like, oil wealth
