sometimes i want to just, screenshot something, then write notes on it to the infinite canvas of my memory, place it, & hop out & around nothing close to this flow is available yet, but with the hardware we have we should be able to do it wish xcode were less a cluster migraine

1000 times this.
@RoamResearch kinda scratches the itch but isn’t quite what I’m looking for either. Needs to have built-in indexing, archiving of links and media, etc. Pretty sure I’m gonna have to code it myself to fit my workflow and desired feature set at this point.

Hey
@CraigTashman, great to meet you. I’m just trying out@LiquidTextCorp — is there a way to just drop the screenshots I take in other flows into the app as a kind of memory aid? I took the screenshot of your twitter feed below and looked in my apps to add, it’s n/a

Great to meet you too
@DanielleFong ! I've never tried it that way before with LiquidText, I'm not sure why we don't appear. But as a workaround, you can drag-and-drop pics from other apps.pic.twitter.com/jg7hoV9Q99

Since I have your attention, I already have a wishlist :) - momentum scrolling infinite canvas / infinite zoom paste directly into top level app (desktop app) from screenshots (eg cmd ctrl shift 4)

Great points! 1. Momentum scrolling: we have it, is it not working? 2. Infinite canvas: We have it, but we only let you go about 1 "page" past the edge of your current content, so you don't get lost. 3. Infinite zoom: Not yet, but would love to hear more of why! 1/2

momentum scrolling on workspace on desktop not working for the one ppt i tried it on infinite canvas and zoom is basically because in any whiteboard you always end up wanting more space to zoom in & elaborate. i used to heavily use the app mischief, but it’s no longer supported

Just to follow-up on the momentum, I'm sorry about that, it should always work on Mac. If you can send me with a screen-cap, I'll see if we can figure out what's wrong

cannot replicate the bug, and it might have just been my computer being slow, with too much loaded on, or scrolling off the page, where there’s a constraint to keep you going off edge. actually it works great
