sometimes i want to just, screenshot something, then write notes on it to the infinite canvas of my memory, place it, & hop out & around nothing close to this flow is available yet, but with the hardware we have we should be able to do it wish xcode were less a cluster migraine

1000 times this.
@RoamResearch kinda scratches the itch but isn’t quite what I’m looking for either. Needs to have built-in indexing, archiving of links and media, etc. Pretty sure I’m gonna have to code it myself to fit my workflow and desired feature set at this point.

I’m so sick of trying to shoehorn my workflow into patterns that only slow me down. Trying to get my workflow and workspace to a place where I don’t feel like my tools are actively fighting me has been a journey, that’s for sure. I definitely need to explore this space further.

do you use music, stretching to help you think? to me it helps suspend the flow on any hiccups. i agree though. it’s so limiting

Yes, absolutely. Music is a huge part of my workflow, and stretching definitely helps as well.

I really need to get back to a daily yoga practice, I fell out of that routine over the past couple months. The general flexibility benefits alone are enough to make it worthwhile, but the meditative aspects were incredibly helpful as well.
