it's not quite the non-fungibility of tokens that makes an NFT valuable. what would it be? maybe as a Schelling point for durable expressions and perspectives. actually if you have something like this, like an amazing night spent together, a concert or even, say, a party

Electronic Arts. Or other game developer of choice. NFTs remind me of people buying a virtual hat for their avatar, except now the hat isn't subject to the whims of Giant Game Co.

I remember when people got mad at Bethesda for selling $2.50 purely cosmetic virtual horse armor for Oblivion. But apparently it did well enough that there are entire companies built around that business model. In this context, NFTs aren't that crazy.
