If you were looking for those then I guess an encyclopedia is a good choice. Did you feel like you understood and internalized most of the information you read, or was it more an experience of learning *how* to learn on your own?

I ask because I enjoy learning new things today, but I’m pretty sure at that age I only wanted to learn about a pretty small range of things that were already interesting to me and was maybe slightly above average in normal class. Liking learning while young would’ve been cool
