I was accelerated out via testing: my brother wasn’t.He became competitive with me, and I never realized it until adulthood. It was hard for him: I had academic ease and athleticism. It interfered w our relationship until he became very successful 1/

And I did not. But throughout life it has repeatedly come up. Always there. And not worth it. I think if you could just accelerate kids and just keep the bloody parents out of it. It’s their clamor and pressure that kills the joy. Kids just like learning.
