How'd we get here? BdB kept an admissions exam in place for 4-year-olds that no expert supported for most of his term - and now he's getting rid of gifted! What are the pitfalls? City is planning accelerated education for all - ID'ing kids who excel at one subject and accommodating them within their normal classrooms or schools instead of separating them. That's a lofty goal, but REALLY hard to pull off. Some experts are skeptical
