yeah nobody is choosing resources so to be clear you'll still get like $100k / year and like 1% equity but you'll be running a department and have minions / pretty much whatever equipment you want

I like equity, resources and split. Prefer resources right now. I'm biased though because I've been there. You also hinted that people don't choose resources. The oddball choice is often a good bet if it's rational.

scale of company: this is a tiny company, the founders are uncommonly good, there is a chance that the co will be worth billions but it will be a lift; you will have do an incredible amount of high quality work, but the elite team could be high performing enough to pull it off
