I would love to be wrong. But looking at it, it appears to fit in the slot of the common cold — with the added effect of killing 3% of those infected. The coronaviruses that comprise some of the cold viruses that hit every year in and out just seem to…keep going.

What’s really interesting is the heavy mortality in younger sufferers of the 1918 flu which does not seem to be evident in later related strains like A. 1918 was killing young adults like there was no tomorrow. Inf. A not so much. That mutational “drift” is fascinating.
